Jeff Benton, president of Jeff Benton Homes, Incorporated (JBH), has announced the year-to-date results of the builder’s internal Quality Assurance Program. “We’ve very pleased to report that, of the 101 homes we’ve closed so far this year, 56 had fewer than five items needing correction, and 32 of those homes were ‘zero walks’, meaning there were no items whatsoever needing further attention. And while we certainly look for the large issues, we also count items as small as a scratch in the hardwood or a smudge on a wall.”
“The secret to these outstanding results is our in-house quality assurance program. Prior to closing our Customer Care Manager walks the home and property to ensure the home is free of imperfections. Our goal is to have the home 100% complete when the home is presented to our customer at orientation.”
“A plaque hanging in the JBH New Home Center displays the address of every “zero walk” home, along with the name of the builder and assistant builder who built it. The plaque reads, ‘At Jeff Benton Homes, when you make a commitment to us, we make a commitment to you. We commit to delivering your new home 100% complete, on time, without sacrificing quality or integrity. Because of our commitment, each and every home is inspected throughout the construction process by our own Construction Team and Quality Assurance Inspector. Once your new home has received the “Quality Assurance Seal of Approval”, we measure our success by your inspection of your new home.”
